Burnout3

So, Burnout3 is retina explodingly fast. Sometimes your going so fast your brain isn't quick enough to react to what's happening on screen, say your bombing down a straight at a cool 230mph and you think to yourself there's a lorry coming my way directly in front of me I had better get out of the way [all this in the space of 3/10's of a second] but by then it's too late and you have crashed. Of course sometimes you can avoid this and I have had periods where I have been so "in the zone" I haven't crashed at all, broke lap records, and taken down [forced other cars off the road] all the other racers but then suddenly B. A. M. Your concentration dips and your moment of "in the zoneness" is over. Anyway the game is mind numbingly legendary but does suffer from EA Games influence;
something telling you what track is being played on the car radio popping up at the worst times, poor loading times [despite the genius loading screen of two cars driving towards each other and eventually crashing] and far too many fmv's telling you "congratulations you have unlocked bla bla bla" combined with the "you have won a new car!" both of which are un-skippable and start to grate after a while. Despite these flaws though the game still rocks. 9/10.

Son Of A...

Just to cheer everyone up seen as Christmas is on the way, guess what! For all you who bought the Matrix dvds (anyone?) I present you with the "The Ultimate Matrix Collection - Limited Edition with Figurine and Collector's Book" which brings 10, yes 10 discs together, all the films, all re-visited all with more and more content and features and also present is every episode from The Animatrix [you can also buy it without the figure and the book if you can't afford it]

Check out Amazon for more.
And to make me angry [and you Alex] The fools/idiots/bastards at Fox are releasing "Futurama Seasons 1-4 Complete Box Set" in an ultra-sexy box, however in this instance there are no new features thus not warranting a purchase/complete and utter devastation.

Other contenders for most annoying re-release go to: Spider-man, The Bourne Identity and Donnie Darko [although the latter is because it's an entirely new directors cut and finally Buffy seasons 1-7. Anyway here's hoping they do the same for X-Files in the future cos that's something I would be happy about. So, at the end of the day it all comes down to whether you own the original stuff in the first place, maybe we shouldn't buy things when they first come out but wait for the inevitable re-release.

Not Out Of The "Woods" Yet

Hello, it's me! If you remember who me is anyway. I'm on the 'road to recovery' and now just have to wait for a letter confirming when I must return to the hospital to see "the specialist" who's evil by the way [she's got silver hair!] if the results from the blood tests I had Monday and the Ultrasound [no, I'm not pregnant ala Junior] are clear then woot but if they are not I may have to have a biopsy [or autopsy as my mum said haha] on my kidney to see what's "up". Anyway see ya'll soon.

A Lack Of inspiration To The Head

Really not worth the admission these days are they, [blogs]they just leave you with an empty feeling inside after you have viewed the same content/new content over again/for the first time. At least I/we haven't resorted to pictures, stealing other peoples idea's or jokes or the like, at least we will go down with some respect left and it will be a bloody fight of an end too you know. When we started it was great then bam! Time passes, and our blogs/sites degrade to the point of annihilation. I cranked things up a notch by ditching 'Shough' and replacing it with 'king shough' which was nothing more than a name change/cosmetic change but it did help [for a while] to inject some kind of inspiration thus leading to frequent postage, anyway that's ended and with it the 'art of blogging' maybe we will all make an effort to do something special in the future but I just don't think I've got it in me. There aren't many topics I want to discuss openly on here anymore and the jokes are dead. Well, see you later.

Ha, ha

What John's voice is doing now...

John's Voice: Yeah, I reckon I can do just fine without John...Actually this winter you will see me starring in 'dead at 20' the musical in the west end, who needs a body anyway? Bwahahaha.

File Not Foundaroonie

Buzznet isn't working right now because they are doing some maintenance to the site, don't worry though there aren't any new pictures to look at just the old ones, so who gives a flying kangaroo?
